Your files stay on your device
The most important thing to know: files you process with our tools never leave your browser. Video and GIF conversion runs entirely client-side using JavaScript. We do not have access to your files, and we do not transmit them to any server.
What we collect
We collect minimal data:
- Essential cookies: We store a theme preference (dark/light) and a consent record in your browser's
localStorage. These are not transmitted to any server. - Server logs: Like all websites, our web server records standard HTTP access logs (IP address, timestamp, URL requested, browser user agent). These are used for security and performance monitoring and are retained for no more than 30 days.
- No analytics by default: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any behavioral tracking without your explicit consent via the cookie banner.
Third-party CDN libraries
Our tools load open-source JavaScript libraries from CDN providers:
- gif.js — from cdnjs.cloudflare.com
- gifuct-js — from cdn.jsdelivr.net
When your browser fetches these scripts, the CDN provider may log your IP address in their access logs per their own privacy policies. The libraries themselves do not access your files.
Cookies and consent
We use Consent Mode v2. By default, advertising and analytics storage is denied. If you accept cookies via our banner, we may enable anonymized analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site.
Data retention and your rights
