Your files stay on your device
The most important thing to know: files you process with our tools never leave your browser. Video and GIF conversion runs entirely client-side using JavaScript. We do not have access to your files, and we do not transmit them to any server.
What we collect
We collect minimal data:
- Essential storage: We store a theme preference (dark/light) in your browser's
localStorage. It is not transmitted to any server. - Server logs: Like all websites, our web server records standard HTTP access logs (IP address, timestamp, URL requested, browser user agent). These are used for security and performance monitoring and are retained for no more than 30 days.
- Advertising cookies: Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads. See Advertising below.
- No analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any behavioral tracking on this site.
Open-source processing libraries
Our tools use the following open-source JavaScript libraries, hosted on this website:
- gif.js — served locally from this website
- gifuct-js — served locally from this website
The libraries run in your browser and do not access or upload your files.
Advertising
This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies to serve and measure ads.
